FAQ
Can I edit the existing text in the PDF?
PDF text is baked into the page like ink on paper - no tool can reliably rewrite it. What you can do here is everything real-world 'editing' usually means: correct with overlay text, redact with filled rectangles (use the highlight tool with a dark color at full size), annotate, and sign.
Are the annotations selectable afterwards?
Text you add is real vector text (selectable/searchable), highlights are shapes, pen strokes are paths - all proper PDF objects, not a screenshot.
Is the document uploaded?
No. Rendering and editing run entirely in your browser.
