FAQ
Is an image signature legally valid?
In most jurisdictions, a drawn e-signature indicates intent to sign and is accepted for everyday contracts, approvals and forms (e.g. under eIDAS and the ESIGN Act). For regulated 'qualified' signatures you need a certificate-based service - this tool covers standard document signing.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. Everything stays in your browser tab's memory and is gone when you close it. Both the document and your signature never leave your device.
Does the PDF text stay selectable?
Yes - the signature is embedded as a picture on top of your untouched pages. Text, links and forms in the original document remain intact.
