SVG is resolution-independent - scale it to a billboard with zero blurriness. Edit it further in Figma, Illustrator or Inkscape.
How it works
Drop your raster image
Logos, icons, badges and flat illustrations convert cleanly; photos become poster-style art.
VTracer traces it
The visioncortex VTracer engine (Rust compiled to WebAssembly) clusters colors and fits smooth bezier curves - all on your device. Color count sets the palette size; smoothing removes pixel noise first.
Export the vector
Download editable SVG, or a 2× rasterized PNG when you just need pixels.
FAQ
What is vectorization good for?
Scaling a logo to any size without blur, cutting vinyl and stencils, laser engraving, and making crisp icons for print or embroidery. If your artwork is already high-resolution and stays one size, you may not need it.
Why does my photo look posterized?
Vector tracing groups pixels into flat color shapes - that's inherent to the SVG format. For photographs, raise the color count (20-32) for a stylized result, or keep the original raster for realism.
Is my image uploaded?
No - the tracer runs as JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
