Terms of use.

1. The service

Usefultoolz provides free online tools for images, PDFs, QR codes, color and text. All processing happens locally in your browser: the website delivers the code, your device does the work. No account is created and no file is uploaded to us - see the privacy policy for the details.

2. Free means free

Use the tools as much as you like, for personal or commercial projects, without paying or asking permission. Output files are never watermarked and there are no usage quotas beyond what your own device can handle.

3. Provided "as is"

The tools are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Always keep a copy of your original files, and check important output (an invoice, a contract, a visa photo) before relying on it. The site may be unavailable at times, and tools may change or be removed over time.

4. Your files, your responsibility

You keep every right to the files you process - they never reach our servers. Only convert or edit files you own or have permission to use. Removing watermarks from someone else's photos, or altering documents you have no right to alter, can break copyright or other laws. What you make with the tools is your responsibility. Do not use them for anything illegal.

5. Our responsibility, limited

Because the tools run on your own device, a failed conversion never exposes your files - but we are not liable for lost time, lost work, or any indirect damage caused by using, or being unable to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or removes consumer rights you have locally.

6. Intellectual property

Your files stay yours. The Usefultoolz name, logo, design and code are ours. Open-source libraries used by some tools keep their own licenses. You are welcome to link to the site; do not copy it wholesale or present it as your own work.

7. Advertising and third parties

If advertising is enabled it comes from third-party networks such as Google AdSense, which have their own terms and policies - the privacy policy explains what applies. We are not responsible for third-party content reached through outbound links.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. When they are, the effective date above changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
