Why it is built this way
Compressing an image or merging two PDFs should not cost money, need an account, or hand your files to someone else's computer. Most free tool sites quietly upload everything you drop on them. Usefultoolz is built the other way around: the server only delivers the page, and your own device does the work. That is why the tools are fast even on a phone, why they keep working on a bad connection, and why there is simply nothing of yours on our side to leak or sell.
How it stays free
No subscriptions and no paid tiers. The site may be funded with unobtrusive display ads (Google AdSense) - the privacy policy explains exactly what that means and how to opt out. Ads never change what the tools do, and they never touch your files.
What is inside
Image tools: background remover, raster-to-SVG vectorizer, compressor, OCR, resizers and more. PDF tools: merge, compress, edit, convert, fill forms. Plus QR and barcode generators and scanners, color pickers, and small text utilities. Every tool page shows its real limits honestly instead of hiding them in fine print.
Usefultoolz is built and maintained by one person. If something breaks or a tool you need is missing, say so - that is how the toolbox grows.
